Corporate Responsibility

We are committed to delivering sustainable value to our employees, stakeholders, and the communities where we operate. Our commitment to fair and equitable practices extends through every facet of our operations.

Our Workforce

Our People

Our people, both employees and contractors, are our greatest asset and the core of our success. We depend on skilled, hardworking, and empowered people. In return, we seek to maintain a safety-first culture in which everyone is motivated to do the right thing to keep themselves and their colleagues healthy and injury-free.

We strive to create a culture of inclusivity and acceptance—of gender, race, cultural background, age, and religion—that begins at the top and carries through hiring, promotion, and worker-to-worker relationships.

We adhere to the labour principles of the UN Global Compact and have identified employee development and teamwork as corporate values. We strive to include all levels of employees in the decision-making processes.

Our Commitments

  • Employer of choice offering competitive wages and benefits.
  • Recognising and rewarding employee performance.
  • Avoiding strikes or lockouts through inclusive decision making.

Zero Harm Philosophy

Our top priority is ensuring that the personal health and safety of every employee, contractor, client, visitor, and the local community comes first. This results in the prevention of risks and hazards, enhances the working environment, and leads to improved productivity.

Safety First

Health & Safety

Our approach to health and safety is simple: We want to ensure each of our employees returns home safe and healthy. Fodere Titanium & our associated companies firmly believe that creating a culture of safety and enforcing health and safety compliance is non-negotiable.

Sustainability

Environment

Fodere Titanium is committed to sustainable development. We recognise that the long-term sustainability of our business is dependent upon good stewardship in both the protection of the environment and the efficient management of mineral resources.

Our values are based on a “zero harm” environmental management performance. This underpins our environmental policy and represents the minimum guidelines for the business.

We also recognise the increasing awareness of climate change and are committed to participating in solutions that address its long-term impact, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions where feasible.

Water Stewardship

We recognize the sensitivity around water management and water scarcity. We aim to constantly improve water management systems and their efficiency, and strictly monitor our usage of water resources in all areas of operation.

"We believe that the construction and operation of our processing plants can serve as a catalyst for further long-term regional development."

Community Development
Local Impact

Community

We recognise that local communities are at the heart of our operations’ livelihoods and are fundamental to our day-to-day work. We are committed to building strong relationships and proactively engaging in dialogue with local communities, institutions, and government at all levels.

We aim to facilitate community development programs with a special focus on education and training. We are launching and financing sustainable income-generating projects to create local economic capital.

Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy

It is Fodere’s policy to conduct all of its business in an honest and ethical manner. Fodere Titanium and our associated companies have a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings relationships wherever we operate.

We implement and enforce effective systems to counter bribery and corruption and uphold all laws in the countries where we do business.
